What happens when I hit my daily limit?
We won't hard-fail your emails. Instead, you'll see a friendly dashboard warning letting you know your app is getting traction. You can upgrade anytime to keep emails flowing.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes! All plans support custom sending domains. You'll need to verify your domain by adding DNS records we provide.
How do I send emails?
We provide a simple REST API. Just make a POST request with your API key and email details. Check our docs for examples.
What is the "Powered by DevSMTP" footer?
Free plan emails include a small footer. Upgrade to Indie or Pro to remove it and use your own branding.
How do I upgrade my plan?
You can upgrade anytime from your dashboard settings. Your new limits take effect immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.

Our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets you test emails and check logs directly from AI coding assistants like Windsurf, Cursor, or Claude Desktop. Just ask your AI to send a test email or check delivery status - no context switching needed.
Does DevSMTP work with AI coding assistants?
Yes! We provide an MCP server that integrates with Windsurf, Cursor, Claude Desktop, and other MCP-compatible tools. Your AI assistant can send test emails, validate addresses, and check logs on your behalf.
What can I ask my AI assistant to do with DevSMTP?
Once you've connected the MCP server, try asking things like: "Send a test email to me@example.com from my verified domain", "Check my last 5 email logs", "Validate the email address user@domain.com", "What's my API status and remaining quota?", or "List my verified sending domains". Your AI assistant handles the API calls for you.
