By accessing or using DevSMTP ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DevSMTP provides a transactional email delivery service powered by Amazon SES. The Service allows you to send emails programmatically via our API using your verified domains.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or marketing emails without consent
  • Send emails containing malware, phishing attempts, or fraudulent content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Harvest email addresses or personal information
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Service Limits

Your account is subject to the sending limits of your chosen plan. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exceed their limits or exhibit unusual sending patterns.

6. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions or email delivery failures.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevSMTP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms or for any other reason with or without notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
